A fire, in the early hours of Tuesday (9), affected the structure of a Warner Bros exhibition, Casa Warner, at Shopping Nova América, located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro.
According to the Fire Department, the corporation was called to respond to the incident at around 2:40 a.m. There are still no details about the cause of the fire, which left no injuries or victims. See images of the fire:
In a statement, Shopping Nova América reported that the fire was extinguished and that the fire did not reach any other part of the shopping center, which will continue with normal opening hours.
“The administration is collaborating in the investigation of the facts and providing all necessary support for the operation,” the shopping mall stated.
Casa Warner management has informed that today’s screening has been cancelled. Customers who purchased tickets will receive a refund and cancellation of tickets automatically starting today (9).
Furthermore, customers who made the purchase through one of the official channels will receive a full refund, with all fees applied, automatically and the timeframe for refunding the money will depend on the payment method used.
Casa Warner brings together several activations for fans of the company’s major productions such as Harry Potter, Matrix, Rick and Morty, Batman, Annabelle, IT, Scooby-Doo, 300, Looney Tunes, DC Universe and much more.
