Firefighters advance in containing fires in California

California fire battalion chief Brent Pascua told CNN this Saturday (11) that hopes to see an improvement in fire containment.

Winds remain calm, meaning firefighters can now use aircraft to fight fires.

“Super scooper (a plane specialized in firefighting) is a great example of this”, highlighted Pascua.

Pascua added that he hopes progress “continues in the right direction” as firefighters continue to work on containment. “We will continue to control these fires,” he said.
