The Minas Gerais Fire Department was called in the early hours of last Monday (1st) to rescue an alligator in a condominium in the city of Vespasiano, in the metropolitan region of Belo Horizonte (MG). When they arrived at the scene, the teams discovered that it was a plastic alligator.

At around 3:54 am, employees of the condominium identified an alligator measuring approximately one meter standing in the garden of a residence, while carrying out a patrol. The Environmental Police and firefighters were called.
When firefighters went to capture the supposed animal, they realized it was an extremely realistic garden ornament in the shape of an alligator.
In a statement, the Fire Department stated that the decoration is made of polyurethane and polyester resin.
The corporation also said that the person responsible for the decoration is a biologist and makes replicas of various animals as a hobby. A CNN contacted the professional and is awaiting a response.
