The Military Fire Department of Rio Grande do Norte (CBMRN) carried out this Wednesday (15), the rescue of a fox in the rural area of Ipanguaçu. The animal had been in a well more than four meters deep for four days.
According to firefighters, to protect itself, “the animal dug a hole in the middle of the vegetation, making it even more difficult to locate.” The fire team worked for more than 30 minutes .
The fox had no injuries and it was returned safely to its natural habitat in the region.
Firefighters reinforced the importance of calling the number 193 in cases of wild animal rescue or other emergency situations.
