The American-Ukrainian company Firefly Aerospace yesterday, April 12, installed the first orbital prototype of the Alpha rocket on the launch pad of the cosmodrome. This was announced on Facebook by future space flight debutants.
“Alpha” was raised at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, which is used, among other things, to launch payloads (government and commercial) into polar orbits.

The main production of rocket assemblies is concentrated in the state of Texas, but part of the equipment is also being developed in Ukraine. They create Alpha rockets (up to 1 ton of cargo for LEO (200 km) and up to 600 kg for MTR (500 km), the launch price tag is $ 15 million), Beta (up to 4 tons for LEO, and up to 3 tons for MTR) and lunar lander Genesis under the Artemis program.
