Fires have been devastating Southern California since January 7th and, in particular, Los Angelesforcing thousands of residents to flee their homes including many stars who live there in Los Angeles. The first fire broke out in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday, January 7: from there the flames also spread to Eaton and then spread between Passadena and Altadena, Woodley, Hurst and Tyler. The toll at the moment is approximately 1,100 structures destroyed and 27 thousand acres affected according to the Los Angeles Times.

According to the Daily Mailthe actor moved there in 2021 several years after his Malibu home was narrowly spared the Woolsey fire in 2018 although, in fairness, Hopkins had also lost his London home in due to a fire in 2000. On Instagram the actor wrote: “As we all struggle to heal from the devastation of these fires, it is important to remember that the only thing we take with us is the love we give.”
Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton posted a video on Instagram of ABC News footage showing the charred remains of her Malibu beach house: “Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our house in Malibu burn on live TV is something no one should ever experience,” Hilton wrote. «This house is where we have made many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took its first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London. Although the loss is crushing, I hold on to gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires.”
Miles Teller
Miles Teller and Keleigh Teller lost their $7.5 million home in Pacific Palisades. Keleigh shared a photo of the disaster on her social profile, writing: «Pacific Palisades, I love you beyond measure and you are a little corner of paradise: we will come back stronger than ever. I wish I had taken my wedding dress… I wish I had saved a lot of things but it doesn’t matter. There are no words.”
