Images taken from space on Thursday (9) showed the spread of the Palisades forest fire, the most devastating in the history of Los Angeles, California.
Photos captured by Russian astronaut Alexander Gorbunov, who is aboard the International Space Station, showed the fire still active between Santa Monica and Malibu.

The Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire near Pasadena rank as the most destructive in Los Angeles history. More than 13,750 hectares were affected and entire neighborhoods were turned into ashes.
