Firmware Samsung One UI 5.0 on Android 13 will appear in July: who will be available

Insiders have previously reported that Samsung will launch an open beta testing of One UI 5.0 firmware based on Android 13 earlier than last year in July. New information from the authoritative specialized publication SamMobile confirms this and specifies, the release is expected in the third week of July. It is already known on which smartphones it will be possible to test One UI 5.0, when the stable version will be released for all users and who will be able to update.

The first to install the beta version of One UI 5.0 will be the owners of the current flagship smartphones – representatives of the Galaxy S22 series. It is expected that the test firmware will also be available for foldable devices: Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3.

According to the latest information, the release of the stable version of One UI 5.0 is scheduled for October – the Galaxy S22 will be the first to update. That’s a month early compared to the previous schedule (the Galaxy S21 received a firmware update in November a year earlier).

As Samsung announces support dates for some of its models, the list of devices that will update to One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 is already approximately known.
