Last week, China started accepting pre-orders for the new flagship smartphone Vivo X60 Pro +, which is available in 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory or with 12/256 GB of storage.
The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 SoC, making it the first Vivo smartphone to feature this SoC. In addition, it is also the first Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone to feature Zeiss optics and the OriginOS shell.
Now sources have said that the Vivo X60 Pro + will be released in two versions. One will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC, while the other will be powered by the as yet unannounced Snapdragon 875 platform.

Previously it was expected that Qualcomm will release the flagship platform Snapdragon 875, but in the end the company introduced the Snapdragon 888. As for the Snapdragon 875, it should be an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 865 Plus.
The presentation of the Vivo X60 Pro + is scheduled for Thursday, January 21st. The Vivo X60 Pro + smartphone will receive a quad camera, which will include a main 50-megapixel image sensor. The battery capacity is not yet known, but the phone is known to support 55W fast charging.
