The first child in Brazil to be vaccinated against Covid-19 and the thawing of ICMS on fuels are among the highlights of the night of this Friday, January 14, 2022.
An indigenous child was the first to be vaccinated in Brazil against Covid-19. Pfizer’s infant dose was administered to an 8-year-old boy in a symbolic ceremony at a hospital in São Paulo.

Former Minister of Justice Sergio Moro announced that he tested positive for Covid-19. The former judge said he has no symptoms and will undergo isolation. Moro said he took the three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Most governors decided to unfreeze the ICMS on fuels. The announcement was made by the governor of Piauí, Wellington Dias (PT), at the National Forum of Governors. The freeze was adopted in October 2021 to try to stem the wave of increases.
Collapse in Ouro Preto
The Federal Public Ministry (MPF) opened an administrative procedure to investigate the causes of the collapse in Ouro Preto (MG). Two historic buildings were destroyed in the landslide.
