Development of Aya Neo, the first AMD Ryzen handheld gaming console, began before the Ryzen 5000 (Cezanne) processors, so the device is based on the AMD Ryzen 5 4500U (Renoir) APU with a six-core Zen 2 CPU and a Radeon 6 Vega GPU with 6 computing units (384 stream processors).

The system configuration includes 16GB LPDDR4X memory and 512GB or 1TB SSD with NVMe support. The console is equipped with a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. One battery charge with a capacity of 47 Wh is enough to play up to 6 hours, but in the most “heavy” games the autonomy is reduced by about three times.

Console fundraisers and browsers have recently started receiving the first copies of the device. This variant is called Aya Neo Founder and is a special version with a translucent body. It is expected that the manufacturer will make some design changes before releasing the console to the retail market.
