First I spoke about a change of sovereignty in the Aegean islands, says the ‘father’ of the Turkish-Libyan memorandum

“Where Vassilo is the first to have marriage and joy”, says the popular saying and in the case of the last sharpened spirits in the Greek-Turkish and the attacks on all the Turkish media against Greece, the “father” of the illegal Turko-Libyan memorandum could not be missing.

The head of the Turkish Shipping and Global Strategy Center, Müstafi, retired Vice Admiral Jihad Yaici, who became known as the instigator of the illegal maritime memorandum between Turkey and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, told Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and problem, “Greece has demands”, in an interview given to the Turkish channel Haber7.

Pointing out that the demands of the Greeks will not end, Yaiji made the following comments: “Negotiating with the Greeks means discussing their demands, talking about how much we will give them. The moment we will sit with the Greeks at the table is The moment we will lose. We said ‘let the one who shakes hands control the Greek. Let him count his fingers’. We arrived at a moment to prove that we are right. “They gained their territories from Turkey 6 times by winning the war and they enlarged their territories,” Yaici said.

He then went on to make an explanation that should be relevant to the Turks: “Let us start by making a correction. There is no disarmament regime. Everyone should be careful. We are talking about a ‘civilian’ regime,” he said, and then of course spoke about occupied islands:

“23 islands were transferred to Greece under the Lausanne and Paris Peace Treaties on a non-military basis. In 23 of the 23 islands, this situation has worsened. At that moment, the situation for sovereignty has changed. This opinion is also his own. “No one has expressed this view before me. The point we have reached is a legal reality.”

It seems that Jihad Yaiji is also claiming paternity for the new doctrine of discussion regarding the sovereignty of the Aegean islands.
