Evangelical pastor Wanderley Tribeck, who was the first actor to play the clown Bozo in Brazil, died last Tuesday night (18) at the age of 73. He was the victim of a heart attack.
The information about the death was confirmed by Wanderley Tribeck Júnior, the actor’s son, through a video published on social media.
“Dad, don’t do this to me. You have been my reference all my life. I spoke to you yesterday. You were fine. Dad, who am I going to call now? You’re my best friend. Your granddaughters were waiting for you this Tuesday. I still can’t believe you’re gone. God, give me strength, please. Today is the saddest day of my life”, wrote the son.
Tribeck became known artistically as Wandeko Pipoka and played the clown Bozo from 1980 to 1985. He currently worked as an evangelical pastor at the Assembly of God in Criciúma, in the south of Santa Catarina.
