In particular, more is hired in industry (+ 34.4%) and in services (+ 13.9%), while in the agricultural sector there is a decline (-14.5%).
In particular, the first hires in hotels and restaurants are increasing (+ 74%), in the sector other public, social and personal services (+ 47.2%), in that of transport, communications, financial activities and other business services (+ 31.4%) and del trade and repairs (+ 23.5%).

Which contracts: what has changed from the previous year
Permanent contracts dropped significantly (-17.5%), while all the others increase. In particular: 55.2% of the first hires in 2021 are on a fixed-term basis21% for an indefinite period, 10% for apprenticeships, 9.4% for contracts in the “Other” category and finally 4.4% for collaboration contracts.

In reality, the greatest positive variations concern workers with first level university masters (68.9%) and with upper secondary education diploma that allows access to university (34.9%), while they are recorded negative changes for workers with a specialization diploma (-3.3%) and for workers with no qualifications (-13.8%). However, it should be borne in mind that the first hiring of workers with a first level university master’s degree quantitatively represent a less significant case history than the others.
