OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced at the end of January that he had started his own company called Nothing, adding that it would specialize in creating consumer products with new technologies.
There were numerous rumors that Nothing would focus on consumer audio devices in particular. It was later announced that the company will introduce the Ear 1 earphones this June.
