Apple is due to release the new iPhone lineup only in the fall. Nevertheless, a live photo has already appeared on the network, allowing you to get the first idea of the changes in the design of the iPhone 13.

The photo was published by the thematic resource MacRumors with a huge long-term track record in the field of leaks about Apple technology. As noted by MacRumors, the photo was provided by the Greek repair company iRepair. The photo is said to show the front glass panels of the iPhone 13.

They are presented in three sizes – 5.4 “, 6.1” and 6.7 “, as in the iPhone 12 line. Two nuances are striking from the changes. Firstly, the size of the “bangs” – the cutout for the front camera and sensors, is really reduced, and secondly, the speaker has been moved to the upper edge.
These innovations were expected last year with the release of the iPhone 12, but have not yet been implemented by Apple. The iPhone bangs design hasn’t changed since its debut with the iPhone X in 2017. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities, known for his ties to Apple’s supply chain, following the reduced bangs in the iPhone 13 in 2021, in 2022 Apple may switch to a design with an embedded camera screen, like the Samsung Galaxy S21 and numerous other smartphones based on Android, and in 2023 we can expect a full front panel screen without “bangs” and holes for the cameras.
Other changes to the iPhone 13 are expected to support 120Hz image refresh in Pro models, as well as the new A15 SoC.
