The Acre Civil Police (PCAC) arrested, on the afternoon of Wednesday (9), one of the most sought after criminals of the Holy Spirit, known in the crime world as “Frankenstein” .
The operation, coordinated by the Narcotrafficking Police Station (Denarc/AC), took place in the Estação Experimental Estação neighborhood, in Rio Branco, and was partnered by the Civil Police Capixaba.
The 52 -year -old man used false documents on behalf of Gustavo Sérgio Alves and lived in the Acrean capital since 2017. He had a routine of apparent normality, performing as a businessman and residing in a high standard house in the Tangará complex.
According to Denarc’s chief delegate in Acre, Saulo Macedo, the investigation began after the transfer of information from the unity of Espírito Santo. “He is a very influential criminal in that state and we confirmed that he was living in Rio Branco under false identity, with a much above average lifestyle,” explained the delegate.
Frankenstein’s criminal record is extensive. He is appointed as a member of a criminal organization specializing in assaults on financial institutions in cities in the interior of various states.
Among the crimes attributed to him are bank robberies, homicides, kidnappings and drug trafficking. In one of his convictions, he was held responsible for theft to a branch of Caixa Econômica Federal.
In addition, the criminal has a military history: He has been a naval Marine and, according to the investigations, came to train members of trafficking . Sentenced to nearly 40 years in prison, he had already been transferred to the Federal Prison of Catanduvas for continuing to lead criminal activities even within the prison system.
During compliance with the search and seizure warrant, 14 bank cards, fake documents and a high value vehicle were located. The teams also found evidence that he acted in the sending of drugs from Acre to Espírito Santo.
“The intelligence sources safely point out that he was a key piece in interstate trafficking. The calculation of these connections is still ongoing,” said Macedo.
The operation, which resulted in the fugitive’s arrest, was supported by the Special Operations and Resources Coordination (Core) and the Integrated Center for Air Operations (Ciopaer).
PCAC investigations continue to map the full extent of the criminal’s illicit activities and identify others involved.
