Microsoft has announced the launch of FPS Boost for five of Bethesda’s iconic titles that were recently added to the Xbox Game Pass catalog.
The following games have received FPS Boost support on Xbox Series X | S consoles:
- Dishonored: Definitive Edition
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
- Fallout 4
- Fallout 76
- Prey
As noted by the developers, the FPS Boost function will provide an increase in the number of frames per second up to 60 fps instead of the original 30 fps.
To experience FPS Boost, you need to have the latest firmware installed on the console, and the function itself must be activated in the “Compatibility Options”, which are located in the “Manage Games and Add-ons” section. It is also noted that not only owners of these games, but also Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to use FPS Boost.
