An Israeli raid launched today against an apartment building in downtown Tehran resulted in at least five dead, state television broadcast, amid military escalation between Iran and Israel. “A residential building was targeted in the center of Tehran,” television said. “The area is densely populated and there is a high chance of a large number of deaths and injured,” he added.
