Five men, who did not have their identities released, died after a confrontation with agents from the Special Police Operations Battalion (Bope) on the Sena River, Salvador (BA), on Thursday (3).
According to the Civil Police, a team from Bope carried out actions to intensify patrolling in the community of Campo do Bambu, when he was attacked by a group of criminals.
There was confrontation and five suspects were injured and were taken to the suburban hospital, where they could not resist. The corporation seized firearms, porters, ammunition and drugs. The deaths are investigated by the Department of Homicide and Person Protection (DHPP).
