Five police dead in ambush in Mexico

Five police officers were killed yesterday Monday when they ambushed a group of armed people in the state of Chiapas in Mexico (south), local authorities said. The attack was committed in the Community Career Komalapa as police officers were patrolling, Edward Ramirez said via X. The state security ministry, for its part, posted a photo of a completely charred police vehicle, observed on the side. He also said that more than 1,000 police officers were developed to “tackle the situation” and “guarantee security” in the area.
