Today, August 10, Samsung employees introduced the new Z Fold 4 foldable smartphone as part of their own Galaxy Unpacked event. The company noted that the smartphone has become noticeably stronger (45% compared to the previous generation) due to ultra-thin glass that protects the folding screen from damage. The front under-screen camera, as insiders reported, is almost invisible – the manufacturer has increased the pixel density in this area, so the solution looks more than successful. At the same time, the body has become thinner and lighter, and the frames around the display have been reduced.
In addition, now the large screen has real advantages over conventional gadgets – on the internal display, you can use the multi-window function, running up to three applications at the same time. Moreover, if desired, the user can easily transfer the application from the external screen to the internal one in order to continue working with greater comfort. The new folding flagship, of course, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, there are additionally built-in AKG stereo speakers, and the IPX8 protection level allows you to use the smartphone in harsher conditions.

Support for fast charging technology provides the ability to charge the device up to 50% of the battery in 30 minutes, and instead of a 12 MP camera, a 50 MP image sensor is now used. The zoom lens provides 3x lossless zoom with a 30x zoom option, while the ultra-wide camera has a 123° field of view.
Prices for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, as expected, did not fall lower compared to the previous generation – for the basic version with 256 GB of internal memory, they ask for $ 1,799, the 512 GB model will cost $ 1,919, and the top-end Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 with 1TB of storage costs $2159. The official start of sales is scheduled for August 26, pre-orders are already open.
