Xiaomi has begun preparations for the start of sales in Russia of its new smartphones. This is evidenced by records found in the database of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
The documents drew attention to the thematic unofficial channel Xiaomiu. Two models have been certified by the EEC under the markings 2201122G and 2201123G.
As the source notes, these numbers hide the new flagship smartphones of the next generation, hotly anticipated by Xiaomi fans, the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, also known under the codenames Zeus and Cupid.
As usual, the ECE documentation does not provide details about the devices. Nevertheless, the receipt of certification indicates that the moment of the official announcement of the start of sales is approaching.
According to unofficial reports, Xiaomi has already started production of the base model Xiaomi 12 and plans to present it in December. The production of the older models, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Ultra, will begin later and the debut may be delayed until 2022.
