THE Paraty International Literary Festival (Flip) has released the full schedule for the 2024 edition which takes place between October 9th and 13th.
The 22nd edition of the festival is curated by Ana Lima Cecilio and will feature João do Rio as the honored author, one of the most important writers of the early 20th century in Rio de Janeiro.
Among the names confirmed for the event are Senegalese Mohamed Mbougar Sarr, author of “The Most Hidden Memory of Men”, who shares a table with Jefferson Tenório, author of “The Other Side of the Skin”. In addition to them, Frenchman Édouard Louis, author of “Monique Se Liberta”, “Quem Matou Meu Pai”, among others, will also be present.
Carla Madeira, author of “Tudo é rio”, “A Natureza da Mordida” and “Véspera”, is also on the program. As is Felipe Neto, who is promoting the recently released “Como chegar o ódio” (How to face hate).
