Florence Pugh revealed, in an interview with “SFX” magazine, that one of the scenarios chosen for ''Dune 2'' It looked haunted.
One of the filming locations for the second film Dennis Villeneuve in his adaptation of Frank Herbert's novels for the big screen it was Brion's Tomb, in San Vito d'Altivole, near Treviso, Italy, which is the Brion family cemetery.
When asked about the peculiarities of the place, the 28-year-old actress, who plays Princess Irulan in the production, expressed admiration for the attention to detail in the choices made by the production.
“I didn’t break anything, thank God! I think especially on 'Dune', the attention to detail with the locations and sets is just mind-blowing – it really transports you every time you arrive on set. And that was my first day of filming!'', he explained.
“We filmed in that memorial space. It really is a haunted place. There are so many different scopes to the building and area that completely transport you,” she said.
The star said he had to “pinch himself” a few times to believe he was working on the film, which features a cast full of celebrities.
“Obviously, it's exactly like the world of Dune. These were our first two days there and I was already a little surprised to be filming Dune, but I was also there with Charlotte Rampling … It's one of those incredible 'pinch me' moments when you step into a movie as big and epic as this, and you're in a space that has enormous respect and a lot of power.”
