The a million dollar car had less than 500 km on its odometer, before ending up in the trees due to the cyclone. As he explains, water entered the garage where the McLaren – and other luxury cars – was, causing it to drift and eventually end up floating in the water.
Photos of the cars have garnered thousands of comments, with some users commenting, according to New York Postthat they sympathized with him for the damages while others mocked him.
Ernie, as the owner of the supercar is called on social media, also uploaded a photo of a blue Lamborghini overturned after Cyclone Ian.
