Meizu today unveiled the Flyme 9 skin for its smartphones, confirming that the first models with this firmware will be the Meizu 18 and 18 Pro. They will be equipped with Flyme 9 right out of the box.
Meizu 17 and 17 Pro users can already apply to participate in testing, the first beta version will be available on March 5, and the stable version for these smartphones will be released in May. As for the rest of the supported smartphones, the manufacturer promises to update the Meizu 16th, Meizu 16th Plus, Meizu 16X, Meizu 16s, Meizu 16s Pro and Meizu 16T smartphones.
Flyme 9 has undergone significant changes to the overall interface, icons, animation effects, and so on. The manufacturer claims that the new shell has become smart, lightweight, smooth and concise. Added a new multi-window mode, new gestures, implemented various optimizations to improve performance and improve autonomy. Meizu also claims that Flyme 9 strictly protects user privacy.
