A seal puppy was found away from the beach in the middle of the snow on the streets of New Haven in Connecticut on Sunday (16).
Police released a video of the animal, which was interacting with a person in the middle of the street. Check it out:
Authorities reported that the animal appeared to have a wounded fin.
The seal was taken to an aquarium in Connecticut for rehabilitation.
The animal is a male focus, and experts from the Mystic Aquarium estimates that the puppy has only a few weeks of life, and is underweight.
When the animal recovers, they plan to release it back in the ocean.
Police reported that they don’t know how the seal went to the coastal city streets.
