Samsung today officially unveiled the W22 5G smartphone in China. Despite the unusual designation, this model is well known to many: the W22 5G is the version of the Galaxy Z Fold3 for the Chinese market.

The Samsung W22 5G was the first in the lineup to feature IPX8 protection and an S Pen, but this is nothing new for the Galaxy Z Fold3. The smartphone received the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 platform, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory. Internal screen – with a flexible AMOLED panel with a diagonal of 7.6 inches with a resolution of 2208 x 1768 pixels with a frame rate of 120 Hz and a sub-screen camera. The outdoor AMOLED screen features a 6.2-inch diagonal and a resolution of 2268 x 832 pixels. Samsung W22 5G is priced in China at the equivalent of $ 2,640, which is more expensive than the global Galaxy Z Fold3.
