The Yandex.Maps service team has announced the expansion of the “Own in the City” project, in which famous people voice the car driving along the route. Renata Litvinova became the first sign of the project in April.
Now, the car navigation along the route in Yandex.Maps within the framework of the project “Own in the City” was voiced by the members of the “Casta” group.
As the developers note, Vladi, Shym, Hamil and Zmey play up the situations on the roads in their own way – they warn about cameras, speed limits and difficult junctions. In most of the phrases, rappers use famous quotes from their songs. For example, at the beginning of the journey they will say: “Let’s get together freely and ride anywhere! The route has been built. ” If there is a camera ahead, “Casta” will warn you like this: “Try to go no louder than water, not higher than grass – there is a camera ahead.” And the route will be completed with the words: “We arrived – everyone was happy in general.”
Caste participants recorded over 160 phrases for Yandex.Maps. You can enable their voice acting in your personal profile: go to “Settings”, open “Routes”, select “Sound” and “Voice”.
Voices of other heroes will appear on Yandex.Maps soon. Such voice acting will appear in Yandex.Navigator later.
