Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl announces birth of daughter out of wedlock

The singer Dave Grohl 55, lead singer of Foo Fighters announced the birth of his daughter, who he revealed was the result of a relationship outside of his marriage. The news was shared on his social media, where the artist also mentioned that he plans to “be a loving and present father” to the child.

“I love my wife and children, and I will do everything I can to earn their trust and forgiveness. We are grateful for your understanding regarding all the children involved as we move forward together,” he said in his statement.

The singer has been married to Jordyn Blum since 2003, with whom he has three daughters: Violet, Harper and Ophelia. Born in 2006, his firstborn Violet has accompanied the Foo Fighters on tour and is also featured on the track “Show Me How” from the album “But Here We Are”. 11th album of the band’s career and the first without the presence of drummer Taylor Hawkinswho died in March last year.
