There are always people who take April Fools’ Day pranks a little too far or who don’t get it right and what was supposed to be a funny idea ends up having severe consequences.
Ariel RM is a young man from Monterrey, Nuevo León, in Mexico, who used TikTok to share a practical joke he made at work on December 28. However, things did not go as he had planned and took a very drastic turn.

Ariel’s prank consisted of announcing, at the end of a meeting, that this was her last week at her current job and that she would tender her resignation at the end of the week. Imagine her surprise, and her horror, when her boss’s response was that there was no problem and that they were expecting him on Friday to sign her paperwork. The boy immediately retracted and clarified that it was a joke, but his boss did not find it funny and told him that this was “a serious company” and that even so, he was waiting for him on Friday.
How sad, we are a serious company. So, maybe on Friday I’ll wait for you to sign the papers.

In a subsequent meeting, Ariel tried to negotiate with the Human Resources manager, clarifying that it was just an April Fools’ joke. Even someone else from the company supports him and mentions that he is a very good asset for the company. However, his boss does not give in because Ariel made a joke of him in a very important meeting in which the entire company was present.
In the last video that Ariel uploaded, he shows his last moments with the company. She is formally saying goodbye to him and he thanks for the opportunity and once again regrets the prank that cost him his job.
“The scammer got scammed”

But things take a turn again, although this time happy, because it was a joke from the company! Ariel wasn’t fired, he just got his play back. He feels such relief when they give him the news that tears come to his eyes and he mentions that what hurt him the most about his firing was not being able to buy his mom a house.
What do you think of this series of pranks? Definitely, Ariel saw her very close to her, but it shows that there is a relaxed and trusting atmosphere in the company, so she is glad that she has not lost her job. She although she surely she will not celebrate the Day of the Innocents again.
