Windows 10 update KB4601382 has an “optional” status. One of the main innovations was the correction of unpleasant bugs that gamers complained about. In recent months, Windows PC users have complained of game crashes, stuttering and screen flickering. Windows 10’s recent January update also brought a slew of problems for gamers.

The KB4601382 update solves problems with image rendering on the screen, flickering during video playback, as well as with monitors with HDR support and application crashes. All of these now optional fixes will be included in the March Patch Tuesday update.
