The state corporation Rostec announced the completion of the development of a portable ventilator. The device, named “Aventa-Vita”, was created by the engineers of JSC “KRET”, which is part of the State Corporation.
It is reported that Aventa-Vita is a fundamentally new medical device. The new ventilator does not require external power sources and stationary oxygen supply lines for its operation. This will allow the new device to be used in ambulances as well as at home. It is also suitable for use in stationary intensive care units. Both adults and small patients can be connected to the Aventa-Vita ventilator.
According to the executive director of Rostec State Corporation Oleg Yevtushenko, Aventa-Vita is the first domestically developed ventilator that is suitable for home use. Moreover, thanks to the simplified control system, even people without medical education will be able to use the device. But the device also has complex treatment programs that can only be customized by intensive care physicians. It is noted that in terms of quality, reliability and functionality, the domestic device is in no way inferior to foreign competitors, but at the same time its cost is noticeably lower. Moreover, in terms of its capabilities, it is comparable to a high-level stationary ventilator.
The device “Aventa-Vita” is equipped with a turbine-type drive, which made it as compact, lightweight and independent of external power sources as possible. It also has an internal and external battery. The rest of the characteristics and features of the device remained behind the scenes.
The tests of “Aventa-Vita” are at the final stage. Serial production of the device will be launched immediately after registration with Roszdravnadzor and receipt of the relevant documents.
