Greggs’s flagship roll of sausage is to be captured with its own wax dummy in Madame Tisso. It is a favorite classic British dish, which will be exhibited next to famous personalities such as Sir David Atenboro, Stormzy and William Shakespeare. For a limited period of time, it will be hosted in the “Cultural Capital” section of the London Museum, which is dedicated to “idols that have contributed to the formation of modern British culture”. The savory delicacy will be presented at the exhibition next week, in time for the National Rolo Day of Sausan on June 5th. It will be placed on a blue velvet pillow, accompanied by a commemorative plate stating that Greggs was founded in 1951 and that 365 million sausage rolls are sold each year, each with 96 layers of fluffy dough.
