For the first time, Agrishow reserved an exclusive space for small rural producers. About 80 exhibitors from the state of São Paulo are going to present their artisanal products, such as cheeses, wines and sweets, to visitors at the fair.
Francisco Maturro, president of Agrishow, highlighted the importance of the space for the commercialization of food: “The small producer’s window was, many times, without legality, without the Municipal Inspection Service (SIM), without the State Inspection Service (SISP). ). Now, there is the reduction of bureaucracy in this process, which makes life easier [do pequeno produtor]without the products losing their sanity”.
The largest agribusiness fair in Latin America takes place until next Friday (29). Until then, the organizers expect the sales volume to reach R$ 6 billion, more than double the amount handled in the last edition of the fair, in 2019.
