The Instagram team, part of Facebook, is launching a number of long-awaited features for users. The most anticipated of these is the ability to post to Instagram from computers.
At the moment, on computers, you can view content on Instagram through a browser, but publication is not possible. However, from Thursday, October 21, users will be able to upload photos and small videos no more than a minute in length in the web interface in desktop browsers. Instagram tested the innovation in June and now the release will take place.
From today on Instagram, two users will be able to jointly publish content to the feed or Reels. Collabs will have shared comments, views and likes.
Starting tomorrow, October 20, Instagram is also starting to test a new simplified way to raise money for nonprofits. A couple of new music features are coming to Reels on Thursday, including 3D lyrics.
