For the first time! Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra share a photo of their daughter Malti Marie

On January 21, 2022, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie. However, the couple had limited themselves to sharing photos of the little girl, until last May 8, when, on the eve of Mother’s Day in the United States, they posted their first photo to celebrate in a big way.

The image shared by Priyanka on Instagram also attached an incredible statement. The couple shared that Malti has spent more than 100 days in an intensive care unit for newborn babies. Fortunately, she has already been discharged and is at home with her loving parents.

In the sweet image, the actress is seen holding Malti on her chest, while Nick holds her little arm. In addition, Priyanka added a tender message to congratulate all the mothers in the world, including her caregivers, and even thanked the medical staff for the care provided to her little girl.

On this Mother’s Day we cannot stop reflecting on these last few months and the roller coaster we have been on, which we now know that many people have also experienced.

After more than 100 days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith and while ours were challenging months, what is abundantly clear in hindsight is how precious and perfect each moment is.

We are so glad our little girl is finally home and just want to thank all the doctors, nurses, and specialists at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles who selflessly were there every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now and our baby girl is truly fierce. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and daddy love you.

Priyanka also thanked her husband Nick for staying by her side at all times and being her anchor at this difficult time for both of them.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caregivers in my life and out there. You make it look very easy. Thank you.

Besides… there’s no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thanks for making me a mom, @nickjonas. Love you.

At the moment there are no more details about why little Malti remained in intensive care, but, fortunately, she is already stable and in the arms of her parents, who will not stop pampering and caring for her.
