The communicator Silvio Santos (1930-2024) was honored at the opening of the 55th edition of the Press Trophy broadcast this Sunday (4), in SBT.
“As important as receiving the coveted statuette, it was to be with the king of television,” said Patrícia Abravanel, daughter of the creator of the station, who presented the event.
A video showed moments from Silvio Santos handing the awards to Gugu Liberato, Hebe Camargo, Cauã Reymond, Jô Soares, Tata Werneck, Tais Araújo, Vanessa Giácomo, among others.
The presenter founded in 1969 the event that honors the highlights of communication, including all television channels, media, actors, musicians and other artists.
