The Minister of Interior, Makis Voridis, in the context of promoting the extroversion and the upgrading of the Public Administration that he seeks, held a meeting on Tuesday, December 7, in Paris with the French Minister of Transformation and Operation of the State, Amelie de Monsallen.
The focus of the two Ministers’ discussion was the further strengthening of the cooperation between Greece and France on issues related to structural reforms with the aim of mutual improvement of the functioning of the Public Sector of the two countries.
In this context, common fields of cooperation were identified and the more active participation of the Ministry of Transformation and Public Operation in the provision of know-how to the Public Administration of our country through the French technical assistance body “Expertise France” was agreed.
At the same time, the excellent cooperation between the National Center for Public Administration and Local Government (EKDDA) and the French National School of Public Administration (Ecole Nationale d’Administration) was noted and it was agreed to continue the joint educational activities of the educators. of these bodies.
Finally, Mr. Voridis expressed the strong interest of our country for the participation of the Greek Public Administration in the program of exchange of civil servants between the member states of the European Union promoted by France on the occasion of the forthcoming Presidency of the Council of the EU. from 1 January 2022.
