A couple, made up of a former employee and her partner, were caught stealing goods from a warehouse in a shopping mall located in Cruzeiro, an administrative region of the Federal District, last Monday (28).
With the couple, the keys to the deposit and various goods were found, including 52 pairs of shoes and 29 bags, with an estimated value of more than R$41 thousand.

According to the Military Police, the incident began when an Environmental Radio Patrol team was carrying out a wild bird rescue effort.
During the incident, a mall security guard approached the police and reported that a couple had stolen several products from a warehouse and were fleeing.
Immediately, the military began patrolling the region and managed to locate and arrest the suspects.
After identification, it was found that the woman is a former employee of the store and was accompanied by her boyfriend.
The two were arrested in the act and taken to the 5th Civil Police Station.
