The action is part of the second phase of Operation Ghost Exchange, coordinated by the Defraud Police Station of the State Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Deic), with the support of the São Paulo Civil Police.
According to the authorities, the accused would have offered $ 80,000 to the exchange of $ 5.10 per dollar. After the victim transferred the amount, the entrepreneur would have cut the contact, blocking the communication and exchanging the phone number.
