Federal Police Chief Laura Villela Rosa Tacca is the new PF attaché in Madrid, Spain. The appointment was published in the Official Gazette of the Union. Attaché is the role of representative of the institution in the other country, responsible for international cooperation.
The 45-year-old delegate joined the PF in 2002 after graduating in Law from the University of Brasília.
Since 2018, delegate Laura Tacca has worked in the international area of the PF, mainly with international police cooperation and legal cooperation. Last year, the researcher also headed the International Relations Division of the PF’s International Cooperation Directorate. And she is knowledgeable in English, Spanish, French and Italian.
Based on the PF’s history, the delegate also served as head of the Migration Control Office, at the beginning of her career in Porto Velho (RO), when she also served as Interpol’s regional representative in the state of Rondônia (2002-2004).
Laura Tacca also participated in the investigation of financial crimes and money laundering, being one of the leaders of Operation Ouro Verde to combat financial crimes between 2005 and 2008; head of the Legislation and Opinions Division of the People Management Directorate (2009-2013); and head of the Private Security Inspection and Control Division (2016-2017).
The delegate will replace Delano Cerqueira Bunn, who was director of personnel management at the PF under the administration of former Minister of Justice and current senator Sergio Moro and had been in Madrid since 2020.
