Former kickboxer Andrew Tate: “I don’t trust the government and believe in bitcoin”

The former professional kickboxer and blogger declared support for bitcoin and blockchain, while expressing distrust of traditional finance, banks and authorities.

Andrew Tate, while recording a podcast with cryptocurrency enthusiast Anthony Pompliano, stated that it is blockchain and cryptocurrencies that give people the opportunity to control their money on their own, while there are many snags when dealing with fiat currencies.

Tate recounted a case where he attempted to make an international transfer of $900,000, for which he had to go through strict bank checks and spend a fair amount of time on paperwork.

The ex-athlete was glad that such a situation would not have arisen with cryptocurrencies, on the contrary: bitcoin eliminates many of the problems that are typical for ordinary money. Tate believes that BTC is the future of the financial world and an asset that the state cannot take from people.

“I no longer trust the government. If you ever try to send a million dollars through a bank, you’ll see what kind of crap you have to go through. You send someone money that you earned yourself, but you have to go through stacks of papers and answer tedious questions for weeks, ”explained Andrew Tate.

The former athlete has long considered himself a supporter of cryptocurrencies. Previously, he called fiat currencies rubbish and cryptocurrencies insurance against inflation. Tate is also known for his misogynist remarks, for which he was blocked on several social networks.

Well-known entrepreneur Robert Kiyosaki has a similar opinion about Bitcoin. Earlier, the businessman questioned the policies of the Joe Biden administration (Joe Biden) and the US Federal Reserve System (FRS), which, in his opinion, only increases inflation. Therefore, Kiyosaki believes that the only salvation of funds is in long-term investments in bitcoin.
