Five people from the family of the former mayor of Santana de Parnaíba Silvinho Peccioli were held hostage by armed criminals on Thursday (15). The residence, located in the city of Greater São Paulo, was invaded around 8am.
According to family reports, the robbers assaulted the former mayor with players and tied his youngest son, granddaughter and house officials.
The criminals remained at the scene for hours and fled carrying two vehicles, as well as paintings and other assets of the residence.
In a video published on social networks, Silvinho’s son confirmed the invasion and said the hostages have already been released.
“Very sad what is happening. As far as possible for everyone well, taking the psychological damage, and that’s it, I am giving you more news,” said Silvinho Filho.
