Former Republican US President George W. Bush does not plan to endorse a candidate or reveal who he and his wife, Laura, will vote for in November’s presidential election, a spokesman said today. “He has been withdrawn from the political process for the presidency for many years,” said the spokesman, who asked not to be named. The announcement came a day after Bush’s vice president, Dick Cheney, announced that, although a Republican, he would vote for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris over Republican former President Donald Trump.
