One was arrested former congressional candidate of the Republican party in the New Mexico midterm elections of USAwho accused of paying men to shoot at the homes of four Democratic politicians.
THE Solomon Pena39 years old, who ultimately failed to get elected, accused of paying people to shoot at the homes of two county members and two state deputies.
“He is charged with conspiracy” and that he “paid four other men to shoot at the homes of four Democratic politicians,” Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina tweeted.
According to CBS News, Pena is in custody after being arrested at his home in the southwest part of the city.
As APE-MPE reports, there were no injuries from the incidents that occurred between December 4 and January 3.
On January 3rd bullets hit the home of Senator Linda Lopez, with three passing the window of her 10-year-old daughter’s room. In this incident, the police found evidence that Pena himself “pulled the trigger of one of the weapons that was used.”
As NBC News reported, Gilbert Gallegos, a police spokesman, said Pena believed he lost the November election due to fraud.
