Fortress Technologies will buy 4,500 ASIC miners from Bitmain

Fortress Technologies will increase mining capacity to 645 Ph / s after purchasing an additional 4500 ASIC miners from Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro by September 2022.

announcedthat the purchase of 4500 Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro machines will increase the Fortress hashrate from 195 Px / s to 645 Px / s, the purchase will add 450 Px / s to the existing capacity. According to the plans, the cars will be delivered monthly from April to September 2022. The amount for which Bitmain Antminer S19j Pro was purchased has not yet been disclosed.

“This order marks an important milestone on the road to becoming the leading company in the BTC mining industry. This is just the beginning, ”said Drew Armstrong, president and chief operating officer of Fortress Technologies.

A few weeks ago, Fortress Technologies announced the purchase of 180 Whatsminer M30S machines and the deployment of three additional containers at its strategic venture with Great American Mining. Fortress hashrate has grown more than 260% since the new leadership was appointed in September.

Due to the growth of bitcoin, many companies seek to increase profits and buy additional equipment. For example, CleanSpark acquired 4,500 ASIC miners in early October, and mining equipment manufacturer Bitmain is going to place 56,000 ASIC miners in Georgia.
