US President Donald Trump plans to launch a new cryptocurrency game in which users will earn money and build buildings in a virtual city. It is reported by Fortune with reference to its sources.
As noted in the publication, the project will resemble Monopoly Go! This is a game for mobile platforms. The essence of the gameplay is to increase the user wealth, investing funds in real estate.
The second source of the publication also compared the new project of the Trump team with the “monopoly”. It is known that behind its development, presumably, is Bill Zanker.
He and Dylan Zanker are involved in the launch of the NFT collection of the president. In particular, Bill Zanker is closely connected with NFT LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC. The latter, along with Cic Digital LLC, stands behind the launch of Trump Memcoin.
In the comment of Fortune, the representative of Zankin, Kevin Mercury – confirmed that he really works on a certain game that will be presented at the end of April 2025. At the same time, he denied that it was made in the style of “monopoly”.
Hasbro, which owns the rights to an original board game, emphasized that they did not transfer a license to the release of a thematic project of none of the organizations related to Trump.
The first Trump NFT-collection, in the tokens of which the community members noticed the characteristic style of Bill and Dylan Zankin, caused fierce criticism due to poor quality.
The same applies to Trump Memcoin, which caused criticism from American lawmakers due to a potential conflict of interest. Recall, in addition to the president, the first lady Malania Trump also launched her token.
