Fossilized traces reveal new behavior for dinosaurs

Fossilized fingerprints discovered in Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada, provide the first tangible proof of mixed cowardice between dinosaur. Fossil traces show that different species of dinosaur, including cherry and other dinosaur, were moving together, similar to the way the gnu and zebra are moving today. The researchers also found traces of two tyrannosaurs walking next to the flock, suggesting that the cutting behavior could have been a defense strategy against top predators. The findings, published in Plos One magazine, shed new light on social interactions between prehistoric animals. Independent reports further excavations in the area are expected to reveal more details about how different species of dinosaur interacted and behaved in their natural environment.
